Dear Minister,

Informed that the draft Law “FIGHTING FRAUD, STAFFING OF AUDIT SERVICES AND OTHER PROVISIONS MINISTRY OF FINANCE OF COMPETENCE” in Article 47 § 6 of the proposed regulation specified minimum supply threshold Wholesaler and retailer of manufactured tobacco 8.3% and 31.3% respectively in the retail price before taxes.

This provision applies from 1.1.2011. We honorable Secretary of State agree that the proposal of the Ministry of institutionalization is to be in the right direction because for over a year trying to keep our open order businesses do not stay unemployed. Nikolaos Crete Chalkis, Livadia, Eleusis, Magnesia, Larissa, Trikala, Karditsa, Ioannina, Sporades, Katerini, Ithaca, Lamia Kastoria, Pyrgos Ilias, Thebes, Corfu, Thessaloniki, Sparta, Amaliada, Rhodes, Veria, Argolida, Kiato Corinthia Megalopolis Tripoli, Preveza, Arta, Mytilene, Agrinio, Patras, landlocked, Lavrion, Megara, Oropos d, Loutraki Corinth, Tripoli, Zakynthos, Lefkada, Orestiada, Chios, Samos, Kos.

Please note therefore that so far across the country have closed 1900 stands, we also mention that many of our colleagues extend their operation in the hope that you will support them. Please note that the entire industry is 46,000. 50% to 60% of our colleagues have an annual turnover of EUR 150,000. 30% of our colleagues is below € 100,000 and only 10% of our colleagues have a little sustainability in their business and that in large urban cities. The bulk of our total turnover (90%) are tobacco products. Nobody understands that any decision you will have a key role in the survival of peripterouchon-tobacconists, but would prefer a more equitable distribution in terms of percentage of the tobacco industry and peripterouchon-tobacconists that our industry to be able to have a little hope viability.
